The team hosts weekly journal clubs every Friday afternoon to collaboratively study and discuss scientific literature, with snacks provided! 

These images capture the launch of our first Journal Club session of 2025, held on January 10th.

Team members regularly participate in national and international conferences, providing valuable opportunities to broaden their perspectives, share their research, and build new professional connections.

These images capture Miss Xin Wang and Mr Xi Lu at the Biofilms Conference at Cardiff, UK, hosted by the National Biofilms Innovation Centre and the Microbiology Society. Biofilms 11 is the latest installment in the internationally renowned Biofilms conference series, showcasing the diverse scientific and societal challenges and opportunities associated with microbial biofilms.

The Digital Health and Biomedical Engineering (DHBE) Group organises an annual PhD Showcase to provide DHBE PhD students with a platform to practise their presentation skills, share their research projects, network with peers, and celebrate innovation and collaboration within the DHBE community.

These images capture the second DHBE PhD Showcase, held on 7 May 2025. The event was hosted and co-organised by Dr Chengchen Zhang. Team members Mr Bayinqiaoge, Miss Xin Wang, and Mr Xi Lu participated in the event, presenting their PhD projects through oral presentations and a poster showcase.
